There were 5 choruses and umpteen quartets who sang including
Sufficient Grounds and Patch Chords from the Lansing Chapter. S. G.
sang Brand New Day and Mary Lou while the Patch Chords with “subbies”
D. Horton on Bari and Don Terpe on Tenor sang I Want A Girl and you
guessed it? Lion Sleeps Tonight.
Everybody seemed to have a
GREAT time with the Brats, Beer and Chips. Ron Gilles did his usual
FINE job pulling off the Show Part of the evening and Dave Lounsbury,
Jack Stevens, John Noteware and many other Flint Chapter Members made
sure everybody got food and drinks etc.
Reese Olger made the
trip and got to sing a few with the Chord-Agains with fill in Don
Terpe. Special Thanks to Don Terpe for attending as he was our only
TENOR. Reese also got to sing a couple of songs with his grandson
Chandler who arrived from Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon just in time
for he and Mother Elisse to joint in the FUN!!!
