BHS Membership Services

The demands on the department currently are more than the hours in the day can afford. We will return voice mails and emails, but hope you will understand our limitations of time.

Many new member kits are being shipped on a regular basis.

Current Society dues are $97. ($48.50 for Seniors, Students) *note: plus about $30 for District & Chapter dues.

If you have not received the appropriate member renewal cards, please let us know so we can get the appropriate cards to you. Email us at: membership@barbershop.org

All Autodraft (monthly dues withdrawals) renewals will show a 2009 or 2010 expiration date. This is normal for our new Computer system, and is not a mistake.

In regards to Ebiz, here is where we stand:

Login troubles are the biggest deterrent right now. Please read carefully how you can bypass this, WITHOUT having to contact us. (that said, PLEASE DO contact us if you must! We're glad to help.)

The Barbershop Harmony Society Membership department has had an unbelievable influx of calls and emails which have taken more of our time than anything. We find ourselves fielding as many tech support calls as membership related calls, and our members do need an outlet on the staff to voice their concerns, questions, problems, and solutions for our Ebiz Members site and our new IT Database system Aptify.

In regard to your chapter's recent applications or transfers, please note the following: For the past week, you have not received many returned phone calls.

There is a brand new feature, which will allow you to click on forgot User ID or Password, enter your 6-digit Member Number, and then click a link to send you your Activation Code.

This Activation Code IS NOT YOUR PASSWORD, but is your Password Hint answer. When you put that Activation Code into this spot on the webpage, then click Submit, you THEN CREATEa new password. (see the screen-shot below)

We sincerely thank you for your persistence. If you find that you cannot log in, even after this procedure has been followed exactly, please feel free to email us or ask around for other guys in your chapters who have been successful.

Please note: We have a GREAT new computer system. The transition has not been perfect, and yet it is beginning to work very well for all basic chapter functions.
