install Chapter officers. Marv, you did a fine job and Windsor is in your debt. Many thanks for a job well done to those individuals who are leaving the Board and congratulations to the new comers and especially the new VP’s who will be doing the hard lifting.  Congratulations also to Windsor ’s 2007 Barbershopper of the Year Tom Grimes. Well deserved Tom, for all your hard work.

So much happened last year. Our chorus and quartets did more performances than ever before and for this we are grateful to all who participated. What better way to spread the word. Our Youth in Harmony program was involved with several district High Schools and it would appear that we’ll do more in the New Year. Many thanks to Ron Gibb and the quartets that assisted him in this wonderful endeavor.

Of course, we are much saddened by the news that Fermata Nowhere have put their pitch pipe away. They were always special in Windsor’s eyes and will not be

2007 is history and now we begin a new year. Our new Chapter Officers were well installed by Past District Secretary Marv Skupski and what can you say about a “young” man who leaves home on a cold December Night to come to Windsor to
forgotten. We’ll always remember the trips they made to our chapter when they entertained us royally. Good luck guys.

Put a mark on your calendar for Windsor’s Send Off show on June 13th.  This event is one of the best shows in the District and it shouldn’t be missed for a couple of reasons.  It’s great entertainment and more importantly it provides some financial assistance to our quartets and chorus. It’s a great evening. Oh yes, I almost forgot, you also get to listen to Doran.

Many thanks need to go to Joe Serwach for his contribution and hard work as Editor of this fine tabloid. Good luck in your new job Joe as District Secretary. At the same time we welcome Michael Baribeau as our new editor. Hopefully you’ll not have to correct too many of my errors.

Our best to everyone in the New Year from the Windsor Chapter.

The wrapping paper is all gone, the furniture is put back and New Years Eve is almost here. The question is, what do we do after the New Year for excitement? The answer is simple. Make plans to attend Windsor's Annual "Uncle Sam Night". This event will be held on January 18th 2008 at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 2401 Columbus Center Windsor Ontario. Held at the same place for the last 10 years.

The bar opens at 7:30 with dinner at 8:30 PM. Dinner is 1/2 slab of ribs, fries, coleslaw and a roll. Cost $10:00 CDN (we'll take US money at par) There will be a cash bar.  Bring a friend (stag)
