opportunity each year to witness a live performance of Christmas music. The light in their eyes and the smiles on their faces were a joy to behold. It may be the most satisfying thing our chorus does all year.

On the 18th of December we had our annual Christmas dinner, which was attended by chorus members as well as spouses. The Fenton Hotel provided wonderful food and atmosphere for the fellowship that we all value so much as brothers in harmony. On the 19th, we sang at the Genesys Medical Center where our performance was taped and broadcast into all the rooms making it available to all the patients. Flint Arrowhead Chorus

This holiday season has been a very busy one for the Flint Arrowhead Chorus. Starting on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, we visited many of the senior centers in the Flint area, bringing with us the happiness of Christmas music through Barbershop Harmony. For the many elderly who are no longer able to get out, it is their one

in the children, as they joined in singing old favorites like “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and “Silent Night”. Finally, on the 23rd of December, eight of us sang live on the morning news show on Channel 12. It was a great opportunity to “spread the word” to the whole community.

We will end the current year with a New Year’s Eve performance at the Annual Fenton Jubile'Eve in Fenton, Michigan and start off the New Year with a bang when we head north for our annual retreat at the Higgins Lake DNR facility. This retreat is our way of getting the new year started off with a bang and recreating all those bonds of friendship and brotherhood that are so valued in the Barbershop Harmony Society. We hope everyone had a terrific holiday season and we wish you all a wonderful new year. Let us dedicate ourselves anew to the truly American art form of Barbershop Harmony.
