Chapter Officers Training School


guests. Bruce Odell, lead of the 2004 International Seniors Quartet Champs "Downstate Express", will be teaching the class, "Singing for Barbershoppers". Bruce is a tremendously enthusiastic and dynamic individual, and his class is the ideal class for new and old barbershoppers who want to feel that fire inside about barbershop harmony! Our second guest will be none other than our 2007 Pioneer District Quartet Champs "Chordiology". Come listen and learn from them as they share their winning sound and explain their barbershop journey. Learn, listen, sing and get fired up about the future of barbershop harmony!

Here's the basics of the weekend.....

Open to all barbershoppers who'd like to join us! Pioneer District Chapter Officers Training School (...and FUN weekend with tag and gang singing!)

Dates; January 5-6
Registration from 10am to 11am on Saturday, 1/5
Classes 11am Saturday to 11am on Sunday
Location: Okemos, MI (Just outside Lansing)
Cost: Registration: $75 + Hotel: ~$75 double occupancy (see registration forms)

Hello Pioneer District!

Coming up very soon is our Pioneer District COTS, Chapter Officers Training School, weekend, and it's not just for Chapter Officers! Please help spread the word to your chapter that ALL are welcome, and there will be something for everyone! Registration is needed by Friday, December 28th, so there's no time to waste. Many of us "long time" barbershoppers are familiar with the event, but you may have new members that have no clue as to what COTS is, or that anyone can attend. This is the first time that Pioneer has run the COTS 
weekend, so don't miss the fun and excitement! We have two very special

Classes and instructors include:

Saturday evening afterglow will feature 2007 District Champs, Chordiology! Other quartets welcome as well!
